Coast Guard Rescue Practice : This happened rather quickly in front of our house today. I took these off the upper dek of the house. At first we thought the CG was rescueing a boat on fire, but after a bit of watching and using the spoting scope we realized that the "smoke" was actually wash from the props. They were practicing and then they had to contend with a cruise ship as it headed north.
